Parachute
We have had lots of fun playing parachute games.
Dissolving
We have been investigating which materials dissolve in water.

We were inspired by Klimt's work when creating our T-shirt designs.
Easter
We made clay coil pots to use as egg cups. We designed and made cosies from felt.
We enjoyed making and eating Easter nests.
Printing
We explored lots of different printing techniques.
Tree Planting at Colden
Matt told us about the trees we would be planting. He gave everyone a whip to plant.They needed dipping in water before planting.
Everyone dug a hole and carefully planted their whip.
We enjoyed a walk back to school.

We had a go at spinning, weaving and felting.
Animal Lifecycles
Class Two have been looking at the life cycles of frogs...
...and butterflies.
Sculpture
We have been learning about the sculptor Auguste Rodin.
We have been creating faces modelled in clay.
We have used other materials to create sculptures.
Trip to Tropical World
We saw lots of beautiful butterflies in the Butterfly House.
In the Amazon Tank there were lots of fascinating fish.
We enjoyed our visit to the rainforest!
We met the Meerkats...

Simple Mapping
We made treasure maps and went on a treasure hunt around our school grounds.
We tore around the edge of our maps and stained them with tea bags. Our maps looked really old.
We followed the directions on the map carefully
It was exciting finding the treasure!
Our Visit to the Building Site
First we met Pip and Andy who are in charge. They led us through the site.
The digger driver stopped work when we went past. He's been very busy!
We went down into the big hole where our playground used to be.
It was intersting looking at what is underneath our playground.
We made puppets as part of our topic on toys.
