RE: HEPTONSTALL SCHOOL 

SUBJECT: NOTIFICATION OF CONSTRUCTION WORKS

Henry Boot Construction Limited in their capacity as principle contractor for this project and in line with the ‘Considerate Constructors Scheme’ wish to notify of construction works been carried out on Heptonstall School, Smithwell Lane, Heptonstall.

The works will involve the construction of a new school extension building at the end of the existing School on the adjacent field, the siting of temporary classroom accommodation to enable the main school existing building to be totally refurbished. Once the above is complete the school playing field will be reinstated and a Multi Use Games area created with car park facilities.

It will require a little bit of consideration due to the restricted access from Smithwell Lane into the site with regard to parking of vehicles. We would appreciate if the area 50 metres either side of the proposed entrance at the top of the playing field is left clear on both sides of Smithwell Lane due to the nature of the vehicles requiring access.                                                                                                                    

We are contracted to carry out the works from the 10th January 2011 until the end of February 2012 when the works will be substantially complete. 

In view of your proximity to the site if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact our Project Manager should you have any concerns or comments regarding the works at the site office within the construction site, which can be accessed by pedestrians and vehicles on the designated routes from Smithwell Lane.
