Tropical World

We saw lots of beautiful butterflies in the Butterfly House.

In the Amazon Tank there were lots of fascinating fish.

We enjoyed our visit to the rainforest!

We met the Meerkats...

and lots of other amazing animals.

Class Two visited Knowsley Safari Park in October 2010

Below are some of the animals that were seen on the day.

This is in the Bug House, arrgghh! A very cute gazelle.	This lion should have used the zebra crossing!   The children enjoyed a sealion show...
	...but were starting to look a bit fierce by lunch time. The lions were nice and relaxed though!

During the day at the safari park the children saw animals that they would not normally encounter. This raised their awareness of the natural world and provided an enjoyable experience for them.
