The children had a lot of fun during the recent School Sports Day. Some photos of the event can be seen below.

15 children from Key Stage 2 went to Spring Hall Track in Halifax on Tuesday 21st June to take part in an athletics competition against other local schools.

All the children were excellent sports people and had a really good time, despite the heavy down pour.

A big thank you to Mrs Schnacke, Mrs Lister and Aaron Schnacke for helping to take the children there and back.

Our year 1 and 2 children went to Burnley Road school on Friday 10th June to take part in a multi skills festival. The children had great fun trying lots of different activities. They even got their picture in the Halifax Evening Courier on Wednesday 15th June.

Our netball team had their first set of matches after school on Thursday 17th March at Calder High School. They all played really well and were very good sports people. A big thank you to all the support from parents.

The next round of matches are on Thursday 31st March @ Calder High School.

Well done to the children who took part in the Family Cross Country Championships at Spring Hall Track on Tuesday 8th March as part of the Crossley Heath team. Thank you to all the parents who took their children to the event.

An even bigger well done to the 3 children from our school who also qualified for the Calderdale Cross Country Finals on Thursday 17th March at Spring Hall Track 1 - 3pm because they finished in the top 15 in their race.

Well done to all the children who took part in the Family cross country championships at Saville Park Moor on Wednesday 16th February, 2010.

A huge thank you to all the parents who transported their children there and supported both their children and the school.

Well done to the team of year 5 and 6 children who attended the quicksticks festival at Calder High School on Wednesday 2nd February, 2010.

Well done to all the children who have taken part in the various cross country events this year.
