- Pageturners Book Quiz
On Friday 13th March 2015 four of our Year 6 children took part in a Quiz at Halifax Central Library. They performed really well and ended up coming a magnificent “Second” overall. More information can be found on the Special Events page.
- Comic Relief 2015
It was another fantastic “Comic Relief” effort on Friday 13th March from all the children and staff at Heptonstall School. Overall we raised a total of £375! Magnificent! Lots of photos on the Special Events page.
- Author Visit to School
On Tuesday 10th March the author Hilary Robinson visited school. Hilary talked to the children about all her books – especially “Where The Poppies Used To Grow”. You can see lots of photographs on the Special Events page.
- Class 4 Tree Planting
On Wednesday 4th March, Class 4 went to Windy Harbour Farm to plant some trees. This event was arranged by “Treesponsibility” who have been responsible for planting many new saplings in the local area. You can see the photographs on Class 4's page.
- RED NOSE DAY
Friday, 13th March. The theme this year is 'Make your face funny for money'. Paint your face and make your hair funny for a donation. £1 admission to assembly.
- Whole School Photograph
On Wednesday 25th February the Courier will be taking a whole school photograph. Children whose parents have opted out of photographs will of course not take part.
- Class 2 Trip to St Thomas' Church
On Friday 6th February 2015, Class Two children visited St Thomas’ Church, Heptonstall to round off this half terms topic about “Churches and Mosques”. You can view the photos on the School Trips page of News and Events.
