Half Way There!

Today – term-wise –marks the half- way point of the school year. Wow! Where has that time gone!?

As first halves go it’s been as good as when Leeds took a 4-0 half time lead against Huddersfield back in October last year!

There have been lots of fun things and wonderful learning opportunities for the children to enjoy in school (Christmas was AMAZING!) and there have already been many occasions for our children to meet children from across Halifax and Bradford by working jointly with the four schools in the Family of Learning Trust.

This will continue after half term when on the second Wednesday back our School Council children will be going to Dean Field school to do a presentation to the School Councils from the other three schools (and will, in turn, enjoy them present their own material to us).

Our Before School Club has started well. If your child would like a place after half term (Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays) then please Dojo me to get the ball rolling.

As we get to "half time" I would like to thank all the staff for the tremendous efforts and dedication that they put in to making this school the best and happiest it can be.

In the aforementioned football match Leeds slackened off after half time and the game finished 4-1. However we are NOT Leeds – we are Heptonstall and I know there will be no slackening off here (just the opposite!) and our second half of the school year will be just as good – if not even better than the first.

There is already much to look forward to.

I hope you all have a lovely half term holiday.

See you on the 19th February.
