Run Reindeer Run!

Good Morning Everyone.

What a lovely Reindeer Run that was this morning!

Thank you to all those who lined the route and cheered us along. Even the weather was fine for us. A very enjoyable morning and lots of money raised for an extremely good cause.

Thank you to all those who have returned their sponsor forms this morning. If you forgot please send them in asap as Overgate Hospice will be calling in at some point next week to collect it all.

The Reindeer Run this morning ended what has been a lovely festive week in school.

A week that started with two wonderful Nativity performances. Lovely memories for the children and for you all too of two really super performances. As one parent wrote to me on Dojo– “I doubt very much I will spend a happier, smilier half hour between now and the New Year”.

This was followed by a visit from Santa for a magical Breakfast on Wednesday and then yesterday our Choir sang for the older residents of the village at their Christmas lunch.

It’s hard work all this Christmas stuff – but a million times worth it!

A reminder (see my post from last Friday) that next week it is the children’s parties.

Reception, Year 1 and Year Two can come in their party gear on Monday and bring a party packed lunch.

Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 can do the same on Tuesday.

On Wednesday it is our Christmas dinner. Children can come in Christmassy clothes again on this day!

I hope to see many of you at our Carol Service next Friday at St Thomas’ Church beginning at 9.30am.
