Building for the Future
Set in the picturesque village of Heptonstall, high above Hebden Bridge and with magnificent views of the Calder Valley, is our small, happy and vibrant school.
In our school we aim to provide a happy, secure and caring environment in which children are encouraged to do their best at all times – in learning and in play. We aim for high standards in teaching and learning, and in behaviour. We endeavour to educate the ‘whole child’, fostering social and personal as well as academic excellence. We want our children to develop an understanding of our society, based on tolerance and respect for others.
- Cefn Lea Meeting
There will be a meeting for parents of Class 4 children on Wednesday, 25th May at 3.30pm. Handbooks, kit lists and medical forms for this year's residential trip will be given out.
- Parent Governor Election
Our new Parent Governor is Tim Machin. Thank you to all 3 candidates and to parents for returning their ballot papers. The next meeting of the Governing Body will be on Thursday, 21st April at 4.00pm.
- Flood Hardship Grant
Did you know that if you were affected by the flooding you can still apply for financial support from Calderdale Council? You can download the information you need from the Useful Advice page of Parents.
- Hot Meals Back in April
Hot meals will be back in April when the new kitchen opens at Riverside School. You can view the menus now on the Menus page of News and Events.
- Parent Governor Ballot
Ballot papers have been sent home with children. Please return by 3.30pm on Wednesday, 23rd March.
