Parent/Guardian Handbook

The aim of this handbook is to give you a guide to Heptonstall Junior & Infant School. We hope that it provides you with all the information you need to help you settle in as a parent or guardian with us. Please let us know if you have other questions.

Teachers are also often available for a ‘quick word’ at the end of the day and can also be contacted via Class Dojo. However, if you need to talk to a teacher in more depth, please make an appointment.

Parent/Guardian Evening

In the Autumn & Spring Term parents are invited to meet with their child's class teacher and discuss progress. At the end of the Summer Term parents receive a written report.

Parents are welcome to make an appointment to see the teacher at any time. If you have any concerns or questions don’t wait, we are committed to working closely with parents and will always find the time to talk. Teachers may also arrange to meet parents if an issue arises.
